Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Full Stack Developer to develop, build, test, and manage a database for sustainability reporting. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to enhance sustainability transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, build, test, and operate a multi-tenant application for sustainability reporting.
  • Manage deployments in various configurations including cloud, on-premises, and client sites.
  • Address non-functional requirements such as security, data privacy, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with state-of-the-art UI requirements.
  • Work autonomously and contribute to our sustainability and transparency goals.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Multi-year experience in software development with a robust technical background.
  • Expertise in full stack development including software/hardware architecture, code design, and IT security.
  • Proven capability to manage the full lifecycle of software applications including coding, testing, staging, deployment, release, and operation.
  • Ability to handle technical change requests efficiently.
  • Self-motivated individual driven by the desire to foster sustainability transparency.

Market Development Manager N. America (remote, full-time 30h/week)

The individual will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to drive market growth and achieve business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and research market opportunities, evaluate market priorities, configures, and delivers competitive offerings.
  • Buildup, extend and manage a strong network with existing and potential business clients in Canada and the U.S., pro-actively reach out to potential clients.
  • Generate qualified leads and sales, particularly utilizing online strategies.
  • Develop proposals, pitch decks and offers in RfP (request for proposal) processes to potential clients.
  • Represent (support and potential lead) DVC in pitches and take over account management.
  • Work within DVC leadership to identify and prioritize high-growth market opportunities with sustainable revenue and profitability potential.
  • Develop and manage business cases for selected offers based on market opportunity, competitive intelligence, customer value and financial impact.
  • This job does not have immediate supervisory responsibility but will direct action across the organization and partner ecosystem with growth potential e.g. in delivering solutions to clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master preferred) in Marketing, Communications or Business Development or comparable education/experience.
  • Initial experience in business development, product marketing, professional services, program / project management, B2B-sales, digital marketing. This experience would ideally come from a consulting business.
  • Newcomers may be considered as well, if they are eager to grow, literate in online communications and sales channels, and personal qualifications listed below resonate with them.
  • Consultative and solutions-oriented sales style with proven ability to effectively identify and sell to executives, leveraging value and insight selling best practices.
  • A self-starter, self-sustained leader and implementor – comfortable working remotely, independently or with a team; highly organized, disciplined self-starter able to work remotely, independently or with a team.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, build relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a professional, authentic, and quality-prone presence.
  • Goal oriented, with a verifiable track record of overachievement, eager to succeed.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self.
  • Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Tech savvy and stays up to date with advancements in digital marketing.
  • Must have Canadian citizenship or Canadian permanent residency status, and residence in Alberta (AB).
