Dr. Vieweg Consulting Inc. (DVC) is a consulting boutique specialized on sustainable, digital and agile transformations for corporations and public services across branches. We offer consulting, coaching, dedicated seminars / certification courses (e.g. agile management, cyber security, sustainability reporting), and research. As a CMC consultancy (Certified Management Consultant) we are committed to higher professional standards in consulting.

Most of our business activities are either remote or on clients’ premises.

Current job openings are:

Market Development Manager N. America (remote, full-time 30h/week)

The individual will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to drive market growth and achieve business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and research market opportunities, evaluate market priorities, configures, and delivers competitive offerings.
  • Buildup, extend and manage a strong network with existing and potential business clients in Canada and the U.S., pro-actively reach out to potential clients.
  • Generate qualified leads and sales, particularly utilizing online strategies.
  • Develop proposals, pitch decks and offers in RfP (request for proposal) processes to potential clients.
  • Represent (support and potential lead) DVC in pitches and take over account management.
  • Work within DVC leadership to identify and prioritize high-growth market opportunities with sustainable revenue and profitability potential.
  • Develop and manage business cases for selected offers based on market opportunity, competitive intelligence, customer value and financial impact.
  • This job does not have immediate supervisory responsibility but will direct action across the organization and partner ecosystem with growth potential e.g. in delivering solutions to clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master preferred) in Marketing, Communications or Business Development or comparable education/experience.
  • Initial experience in business development, product marketing, professional services, program / project management, B2B-sales, digital marketing. This experience would ideally come from a consulting business.
  • Newcomers may be considered as well, if they are eager to grow, literate in online communications and sales channels, and personal qualifications listed below resonate with them.
  • Consultative and solutions-oriented sales style with proven ability to effectively identify and sell to executives, leveraging value and insight selling best practices.
  • A self-starter, self-sustained leader and implementor – comfortable working remotely, independently or with a team; highly organized, disciplined self-starter able to work remotely, independently or with a team.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, build relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a professional, authentic, and quality-prone presence.
  • Goal oriented, with a verifiable track record of overachievement, eager to succeed.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self.
  • Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Tech savvy and stays up to date with advancements in digital marketing.
  • Must have Canadian citizenship or Canadian permanent residency status, and residence in Alberta (AB).

Content Manager Digital Marketing (remote, full time 30 h/week)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Publish and promote the Dr. Vieweg Consulting (DVC) solutions and offers via the DVC website, social media properties, and partner marketplaces.
  • Utilize existing content originating from Dr. Vieweg Consulting (DVC) to position the company in the market space – website, social media, portals, …
  • Develop and execute communication plans. Build and maintain our social media presence by developing a marketing plan, developing relevant content for target audience and posting content, in particular LinkedIn.
  • Drives thought-leadership initiatives via DVC web properties, SEO, SEM and content marketing.
  • Manage website and digital presence.
  • Research market opportunities, evaluates market priorities, configures, and delivers competitive offerings.
  • Build up and manage a strong partner network in the U.S. and Canada
  • This job does not have supervisory responsibility but will direct action across the organization and partner ecosystem.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master) in Marketing, Communications or Business or comparable education/experience.
  • Tech savvy in website development, social media, SEO / SEM, CMS / CRM,… with a recent command of current (AI-based) technology (or at least interest in those technologies).
  • Initial experience in product marketing, professional services, program management, and sales. This experience would ideally come from a consulting business.
  • Experience and exposure in digital marketing, and project management.
  • Experience with the B2B sales-cycle and how to effectively navigate value-driven engagement models.
  • A self-starter, self-sustained leader and implementor – comfortable working remotely, independently or with a team; highly organized, disciplined self-starter able to work remotely, independently or with a team.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, build relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a professional, authentic and quality-prone presence.
  • Goal oriented, with a verifiable track record of overachievement, eager to succeed
  • Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self.
  • Consultative and solutions-oriented sales style with proven ability to effectively identify and sell to C-level executives, leveraging value and insight selling best practices.
  • Consistently and successfully managing sales processes
  • Leadership experience coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Heightened sense of urgency and deadline driven.
  • Must have Canadian citizenship or Canadian permanent residency status, and residence in AB.
